HotSpot Crash with ColdFusion MX on Linux with JVM 1.4.x

Error details are
# HotSpot Virtual Machine Error : 11
# Error ID : 4F530E43505002EF
# Please report this error at
# http://java.sun.com/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi
#
# Java VM: Java HotSpot(TM) Server VM (1.4.2-b28 mixed mode)

In order to sort this error I used the following post

http://www.talkingtree.com/blog/index.cfm?mode=day&day=21&month=05&year=2004

There is some more detail over at

http://forum.java.sun.com/thread.jspa?threadID=307252&start=75&tstart=0

The key is to use
:XX:UseParNewGC instead of :xx+UseParrallelGC for the JVM parameters

In order to upgrade the JVM, from 1.4.x to 1.5 you might want to add the additional parameter -Djmx.invoke.getters=true to the JVM starup parameters in CF configuration, or by altering the jvm.config file.
